Now that I've got your attention.... :)
This is another one of those posts where I'm going to be brutally honest about sex. So if you're easily offended, or will go around spreading rumours about me being promiscuous (simply because I have an opinion about sex?) then... stop reading. Just click on one of my ads and go shopping instead.
But the truth of the matter is the penis is ugly.
Now don't get me wrong... I do love a hard cock. I don't bat for the other side.
But when I look back at past BFs ... I'd have to say that perhaps all but one had ugly penises. One was worse than ugly (read on!).
It didn't stop me from "loving" those men (despite their aesthetically challenged penises).... I'm using inverted commas because I'm not sure if I really knew what love was back then.
One particularly bad penis belonged to my then BF, let's call him George. (He was actually Mr Print & Wank I wrote about before!). Although of good size... George's penis had tight foreskin. It was so tight it couldn't move back much ... in fact it didn't expose the head at all. Even when he peed.
So imagine - piss that comes into contact with the underneath bit of foreskin that can't get washed. Ever.
Yuck! I shudder at the recollection. :(
If I were to nominate someone for a circumcision, he'd be first on my list. It's not based on aesthetics... but something more pressing... Hygiene!
(He doesn't read my blog. But if he does see this and knows it refers to him... I'm not being a mean person but merely being honest. It is not some hate post that's meant to shame him, that's why I don't use real names).
Only about 20% of men in the world are circumcised. The majority of which are Muslims, Jewish, and American.
Some people call it genital mutilation. They think it's an unnecessary surgery. And that the foreskin has nerve endings so if you cut that off, sensitivity dips and sex isn't as good. I for one can vouch that in terms of penetration, it makes no difference to the woman. And that both men with foreskins and those without seem to enjoy sex equally. It's not as if the circumcised one climaxed with a grateful smile while the uncircumcised one blew his brains out when he came.
If sex is the same.. then why circumcise???
Well... here are Holly Jean's Top 5 Reasons Why She Prefers a Cut Penis.
5. It slides up and down more easily, foreskin can get in the way. I mean... it's a bit of flappy skin... what do I do with it?!
4. Lower risks of infections. Dirt, urine etc doesn't have anywhere to get trapped.
3. It's cleaner. Yes... I know that soap and water exists. But any bit of sweat or moisture smells and tastes putrid underneath that foreskin. And Smegma was it's name-o.
2. Lower incidence of STDs.
No kidding. I read it on WebMD. Plus, women cannot see the whole penis, and thus will not spot any genital warts or rash that might be lurking under the foreskin.
1. Visually MUCH more attractive.
A neat penis looks sexier. Flappy skin only looks good on Shar peis.

Men I know who have had circumcisions (either at birth or adult) do not regret it. Yet some other uncircumcised men will rather chop a finger off than go for the snip. When I have a son, do I circumcise him as a baby ... or let him decide when he's an adult? I don't know.
Girls, what do you prefer? And men, what do you think?
Having tried a circumcised penis...will I ever go back to the au naturel ones? I doubt so. But never say never... maybe he'll be rich enough to make up for the inconveniences of putting up with an uncircumcised penis!
I jest. Please do realise that most of this article was written tongue-in-cheek (or maybe not tongue).

Cogently put.
ReplyDeleteHolly, i definitely agree with you, snip it off!!!! if i got a son in the future, i will do the procedure as soon as the doctor allows me too....another thing u missed out beside the smell and dirt....to be direct, it's the 'cheese' LOL
ReplyDeleteBefore you rush to have your baby boy cut, consider that this surgery could cost him his life. How guilty would you feel if your baby boy died because you decided it was worth risking his life because _you_ prefer the look?

Holly,
ReplyDeletePerhaps, a reason why females/mothers seem to endorse the operation with such enthusiasm is the fact that it is one way a matriarchal society can permanently influence the physical characteristics of its males

interesting. i wish the topic could be longer. = )
ReplyDeletei'm a muslim.as a muslim,it is compulsary for men to circumcised their penis due to hygenic factors as well as listed.
ReplyDeleteI COMPLETELY agree with you about circumcision! And I read about the STD thing too!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, since you mention that a penis looks ugly, I concur. Kinda looks like the pelvic region threw up and forgot to clean up after itself! Sorry, fellas! Hahah. But I, like you, I love a good cock myself.
ahem... seriously speaking, apart from saying a penis looks ugly (sori guys) but to be fair I always felt that the exterior of female's private part is equally ugly too (errr.. sorry gals!!)
ReplyDeleteNot sure if any gals agree with me? : (
WHAT? You know men who had an adult circumcision? Details, please! I may be revealing my naivety here but I've never heard of anyone doing that.
ReplyDeleteGuy Ritchie.
Deletehaha, i like the last sentence, particularly the part in parentheses.
ReplyDeleteTOTALLY AGRREE WITH YOU!!!! I had such talks with my gfs and best boy friends abt this issue. I told them most gals would prefer cut skins but they do not believe me. Personally, i think cut skins are more clean and nicer looking! haha... glad that you had put up this post so singaporean chinese men are aware of such things do exist from women or else they would hv the thinking that only malays do that. haha
ReplyDeleteanon 3.56 - a friend of mine was dating a japanese girl. and she wanted him to snip it... AN HE DID! Done in normal hospital. took a couple of weeks to recover (which is why i think it's less harrowing to get it done as a baby).
ReplyDeletemy bro when his was small, cant pee, it hurted b4 he was circumised...
ReplyDeleteits for good cause..
MAybe the unusual male anxiety over genital surgery must be castration related - not unfounded since one of the original motivations proffered for circumcision was of symbolic castration.
ReplyDeleteHolly Jean 7:26 - Wow that's pretty crazy. At least it worked out for him. Are Japanese men typically circumcised? I thought it was something only Jews Muslims and Americans did.
ReplyDeletethis is really a good post. i have a friend who said "snipped" penis enjoy lesser den the one not snip yet. can we really find a real facts bout the difference/which one is better on the net bout this? cos im gonna show it to him, so he will maybe consider that.
ReplyDeletei think its quite ok if they wash properly every visit to toilet, but some who don wash at all except when bathing..n imagine not wash,n suck it..ewwwwwwwww!!!!!!
have u put something that is not washed after peeing?? if yes, how u react/get him to wash w/o hurting his feelings?
pardon my bad english.
Ugh, the uncircumcised. Can't say I'm a fan. I know one guy who hates being uncircumcised but he's too scared to get it snipped now. You'd think he would just get it over with rather than be self conscious the rest of his life. I feel bad for him - that's why it's better to do it when they're young and won't remember.
ReplyDeleteBTW there's a new study out that disagrees that it makes no difference to the woman - now they're saying it's better for her if the man is circumcised:
http://men.webmd.com/news/20090721/male-circumcision-improves-sex-life-for-women
Love your brutal honesty =) I definitely relate to your post.
ReplyDeleteA guy I went out with for a bit had the same problem as your 'Mr Print and Wank'. Let's just say i HATED going down on him, except maybe after a shower. Even then, there was a lot of hesitation.
He probably thought that I was an extremely selfish girl =D
Jo
I agree w/ Jo - good to see someone who's not afraid to tell it like it is. While I wouldn't turn a man down for being uncircumcised, I have to say I'm a little disappointed if I find out a new man is packing foreskin. It's also interesting to me that every uncircumcised guy I've met (granted only three that I know of) would rather have been circumcised, including the one who went out and got it taken care of when he turned 18.
ReplyDeleteThe best sex I have ever had is with my BF whom is not cut. He has had not problems and it does not smell.
ReplyDeleteI think every man should have the choice on whether he wants it cut off or not. Several guys that I have been with over the years have very little feeling due to being cut compared to my BF now.
Many myths about circumcision can be found on http://www.ksnocirc.org
Quit lying you know that shit is Ugly as Hell to look at... I'm cut and my organisms are great... Thank God I cut as a baby - Holy Jean is correct...If that was the best sex you got then ain't got much...
DeleteTo remove a body part for what might simply be "a neat penis"looks or taste better. its really beyond the pale. Germs? Dirt? maybe as a mother you should teach good personal hygiene. Its called genital mutilation because that is what it is. If the case is medical then all tonsils and appendix's should be removed at birth. Interesting topic and interesting opinions i will say.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, the only thing I don't like about the penis is the scrotum. I mean obviously it has its practical applications but I'm just not a fan.
ReplyDeleteyes. u have a point there abt the scrotum.... though even with tht, some men have good looking ones (good size, good colour, etc). and some other men have huge or ultra dangly ones!!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, circumcision is the best thing to do for a men.i had mine just years ago when i was 19,and trust me and trust holly,it works well boys and girls. Its easier to slide up and down just as mentioned, yea,it sounds scary to snip it off,but trust me,once you do it,you will feel the same way im feeling now, happy.
ReplyDeletep.s. at least you dont have spend few mins to do some 'parking' procedures sliding your skin each time you wanna make some real love with your partner
"...maybe he'll be rich enough to make up for the inconveniences of putting up with an uncircumcised penis!"
ReplyDeleteERRR...
Says alot about you girlfriend! It's not that hard to figure out why you're not married, yet, afterall, perhaps? :)
Wow, what a disturbing blog post and subsequent comments section.
ReplyDeleteI guess its too much to ask for a circumcising culture to realize what they are actually doing. Its the same way in cultures that practice FGM... it seems normal to them, and they conjure up all kinds of silly reasons why its better to cut up the female genitals. Many of those reasons are exactly the same as the ones on your list.
The foreskin is HEALTHY, SENSITIVE, FUNCTIONAL, EROGENOUS genital tissue. a non-retracting foreskin can be stretched, and unclean penis can be washed. A grown man can make an informed decision about his own penis. The idea that this should somehow be a parent's choice, or that a woman's sexual preference should determine what happens to an infants genitals... DISGUSTING. I honestly wish you could open your minds enough to see that... but I realize that is too much to ask of most of you.
It really confuses me though, how a woman can speak of a foreskin as a place for infection and dirt to get trapped.. when the part between her own legs gets infected MANY MANY times more often, its definitely an area where dirt and grime can get "trapped" if a foreskin can. Is it all self-loathing? Do you hate your own privates? I mean, you must realize that if you call a foreskin "flappy skin" you are saying something about your OWN genitals.
And smegma (aka dick cheese) is a substance which develops on unwashed female genitals at a MUCH greater rate. The smell of unwashed female genitals is FAR higher.
Yes we adore female genitals, I would confess to being a huge fan of how they look. Is it so much to ask that you maybe get over your desire to justify the genital cutting of our culture, and realize that hygiene is the solution, not a razor blade?
tongue-in-cheek or not.. its a pretty lousy opinion to have. I hope you will do your future son a favor and do some real research before choosing to cut off thousands upon thousands of highly specialized fine touch nerve endings (similar to those found in the fingertips and lips) away from his healthy, normal, functioning penis.
Hear hear, Joel - how disappointing that so few women on this site have spoken out against this practice, the same ones who would be dead against female genital mutilation, I'd wager.
DeleteLadies - what you think of a man who preferred women who'd been circumcised as they seemed cleaner?
errr... anon 2:30
ReplyDeleteshe did say directly after that line you quote... that she was only joking. Aiyoh... it's meant to b funny la.
and what has it got to do with her not being married?!
Pity you can't just cut the scrotum like the foreskin...hmm...
ReplyDeleteThat is about as funny as a rape joke.
Deletewaahhh kakakakakaaa... good one!!!
ReplyDeletewell...it is just skin at the end of the day...
ReplyDeletewhy not...
So why not circumcise girls too? After all, it's just skin.
DeleteHi Everyone
ReplyDeleteim Muslim + British
i was circumsised at birth...
and i must say its better that way
i mean which women can resist 15% off
ANYWAY FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT CUT YET
YOU ARE MISSING ALOT
how i wish the female also gets the snip off their vulva....same argument as the foreskin for guy
ReplyDeleteholly...is yours?
Just say u are lazy to retract the foreskin and wash.
ReplyDeleteIf you are just as lazy to wash your hair and it stints, do u (holly) shave bald then?
absurd
Got a pussy sew it up with thread and needle.
ReplyDeleteHI all...
ReplyDelete:) some of your comments are really witty - lol -
i esp love:
=Pity you can't just cut the scrotum
=it's just skin at the end of the day...
=Got a pussy- sew it up !
----------------
It's not the vulva that gets snipped for girls, I think it's the labia. Well.. some women have really ugly flappy ones which makes them feel self conscious (with a lover)and they opt for the snip, well vaginal reconstruction or whatever it's called. Not that uncommon.
No, mine's not snipped. lol
---------------
I hear all your arguments. But I have to say... I'm not sold on the foreskin thing. I still prefer a circumcised penis. And I still haven't met a man who is circumcised but wishes he wasn't.
denial? perhaps.
But i know which I prefer.
girl just sew it up...
ReplyDeleteWho want to sew my pussy?
ReplyDeleteJust in case
ReplyDeleteI shld clarify the above comment was not by me.
Whenever I comment, I log in with my account so u can see my pic, and if you click on "hollyjean", you will get to my blogger profile.
So tht way u know the comment was really by me, and not someone who just keys in the nickname as hollyjean :)
You can joke about labiaplasty all you want, because its a choice made my a consenting adult.
ReplyDeleteHowever, in some cultures they remove that and more from young girls who can't make that choice. Thankfully such operations are illegal in North America. Sewn up vaginas are no joke, but then, I don't find male circumcision funny either.
In my opinion, Holly Jean, go ahead and have your own sexual preferences. some guys prefer obviously fake breasts that look like watermelons. But, that is no reason to cut off extremely sensitive, healthy, functional genital tissue from a child. It just ISN'T.
If you want to know about circumcised men who wish they weren't... look up foreskin restoration. There are thousands and thousands of American men who purchase devices which they attach to their penis to slowly stretch and regrow tissue that can simulate a foreskin (though actual nerve endings lost are never regained). Thousands of men feel violated and victimized by the practice.
you've probably never heard circumcised men complain because men don't generally go around telling their friends about the things they DON'T like about their penis. How many men have personally confided in you about how unfortunate they feel to have a small penis? If you are unhappy with something, its not something you tend to share with a lot of people.
In the end, if you have a child, and they wish they were circumcised.. at least they can go have it done. If you choose circumcision for someone, you inflict damage on them which can never fully be undone.
HI joel.
ReplyDeleteof course I don't condone the sort of genital mutilation (on girls) tht goes on in such patriachal societies.
and of course there are men who wish they were never circumcised... though if we searched the internet there are probably just as many men who wish they were circumcised.
Yes, men don't gripe about their penises much.. but I certainly don't expect that they're unhappy about their circumcisions if they tell me explicitly that they are happy with it :S
point noted abt "choice" and tht my son (future), may appreciate having that choice when he's old enough. will deliberate when the time comes.
But I still like circumcised penises.
Holly Jean, are you aware of how many baby boys die because of circumcision surgery? Are you aware how painful it is for those new born babies?
DeleteBefore you rush to have your baby boy cut, consider that this surgery could cost him his life. How guilty would you feel if your baby boy died because you decided it was worth risking his life because _you_ prefer the look?
Just read this, please:
http://www.circumstitions.com/death.html
sound like Jeanholly is a shemale..from Joel reply..
ReplyDeleteHolly, you do condone any form of genital cutting on infant girls?
ReplyDeleteMen who wish they were circumcised can make that choice, so I don't see how its comparable.
I actually don't believe a whole lot of men in circumcising cultures ARE unhappy to be circumcised. Just like in cultures that do the MOST brutal, most severe forms of mutilation of any kind.. the people who undergo the procedures or reflect on them, however debilitating, with pride.
Yet, from an outsider perspective, its easy to see the fault in tying up a young girls feet so they wont grow as she ages.
The way I see it.. female genital mutilation isn't wrong. If you want to cut off your clitoris, or even cut your own legs off, I honestly do not care. But there are certain things I stand up against when they are done on babies.. even if they grow up to defend you doing it to them.
You can like circumcised penises all you like... thats ultimately not the aspect of your post that bothered me in the slightest. You can like tattooed men too, just don't think that makes it okay to tattoo a child.
edit:
ReplyDeletethe people who undergo the procedures, however debilitating, reflect on them with pride.
Lolz. Snipping off the skin.... Ouchie...... That guy prob cant leave the house for the next ... 2 week? can't pee properly, can't have an erection... lolz..... i can still remember how it felt. thank god i was young, else i might just removed "all of it". (",)
ReplyDeleteLolz....
ReplyDeleteI agree that that scrotum is awful...
How is dangly nice?
It's like, just dangling there, waiting to be smacked/kicked
CIRCUMCISION UP!!
ReplyDeletehaha..
ReplyDeletewon't removing the scrotum be considered a castration?
Yes, removing the scrotum is just dumb... unless the guy doesn't mind having no balls... literally...also you have to realize once you remove the balls, he will really be less of a man... you know... not much testosterone..., guess some of you just don't think about things like that but just about how things looks like.
ReplyDeletePersonally I'm circumsized, I think to each his own, Joel especially. Being circumsized, I feel its cleaner and easier to take care of. I got circumsized later in life too and yes it bloody hurts, reason, hygiene.
Hey I was young, like 11, but still, it hurt. I can't say we better it feels better or not while having sex since I obviously wouldn't have had sex at 11 though in today's world its hard to say...
My older brother also got it done later in life... generally I don't think its all that big a deal, it just feels cleaner, like having trimmed your pubes will make you feel cleaner.
If I had a choice, I'd rather it got done to me as a baby so I don't remember as going into that operation room was SCARY... and the injection before the anesthetic... PAINFUL, yes it would hurt a couple of weeks after especially if you get erections...
Cheers to all and again, to each his own. If you never experienced it, you won't miss it. Also, I doubt many people feel inadequate just because they don't have foreskin :p
Typo - I can't say we better
ReplyDeleteObviously I meant - I can't say whether...
holly, post your labia photos here.. i will tell whether you need to cut your labia or not..
ReplyDeleteHaven't been here in ages, but interesting debate: and I'd have to agree with Joel. Condoning male genital circumcision implies you also condone female genital circumcision. So would you support your putative husband if he wanted to have your 6 month-old (hypothetical) daughter genitally circumcised then Holly?
ReplyDeleteno of course not. I dont see any benefit ( aesthetic or otherwise) to snipping off the clitoris.
ReplyDeleteI think there is a gross ignorance here.
ReplyDeleteAforementioned previous boyfriend must have been suffering from tight foreskin, due to his ignorant parents whom forgot to teach him how it should function and be pullable back.
It has nothing to do with being circumcised or not, however being so prevents this issue.
Here is a good explanation:
http://www.embarrassingproblems.com/problem/penis-problems/tight-foreskin
"
In small children the foreskin is tight and stuck to the glans, but normally begins to separate at about the age of 3 or 4. If the hole in the foreskin looks abnormally tiny, ask your doctor to check.
After the age of 7, it is usually possible to pull the foreskin back over the head (or glans) of the penis, but in some boys this is not possible before the age of 14 or 15. So if you are 13 or 14, do not worry – this is perfectly normal.
If you are 15 or over and cannot pull your foreskin back, it may be too tight.
"
Treatment:
- gentle stretching. If not possible any more, then:
- circumcision or
- preputioplasty.
HJ,
ReplyDeletei can shed some light on the perceived pain and suffering of having a circumcision. i had my foreskin snipped off 2 yrs ago at the age of 28. Reasons i shall keep to myself for now, but to put it simply, it was the first time i was having raw sex with my then GF, now wife and i discovered that my foreskin was prone to tearing.
before u start mocking me for discovering it so late, i had always used a condom prior.
anyways, i had the op. done on friday afternoon, took a taxi home after and spent the weekend chilling out at home. sure it was sore and my penis was erect for like 1 day but i survived.
all i restricted myself to was no physical activities to prevent sweating and risk of infection.
my monday i was back and work, and my wed i was giving my GF a treat by screwing her brains out with my newly cut cock.. ^_^
and boy did she enjoy it! her first comment was how sexy and manly it looked. secondly, she loved the way the exposed cock head and rim felt in her mouth and in her pussy. she said she could feel the rim and exposed grooves and veins rubbing her inner pussy and she came like crazy...
so fast forward, we're married now... but she still loves my cut cock... and because hygiene levels are up, ie. no pee residue and good ventilation (i wear boxers), she just loves to pull my shorts down at home and suck me off... sometimes even on low traffic roads she just unzips my pants, pulls out my cock and deep throats me! i just love it.
CUT COCKS ALL THE WAY !!!! hahhaha
hey alsocan... thank u for sharing tht :)
ReplyDeleteHJ,
ReplyDeleteur very welcome. ^_^
All but one? Who was the one?
ReplyDeletehaha.. I CAN'T NAME HIM !! Cos if I Name the ONLY ONE good looking penis.. then people who know my ex bfs of the past will know who were the ones with the not great looking penises!!
ReplyDeleteI still don't get it. Holly, are you still a virgin?
ReplyDeletegirls love my cock. and im not snipped :)
ReplyDeleteReal girls are not the only ones with a preference for cut or uncut cocks. I'm a gay transvestite, and even though I won't necessarily turn down sex with some guy just because he isn't snipped, if given a choice, I'd want him to be cut. I've seen my share of ugly cocks but then again, I'm a lover of all cocks. I'm totally bummed that I'm not a real girl. I've always wished I was born a girl because no surgery can make a guy into a real girl, only fakes and neither guys or real girls want to be near gay girls guys dressed up like girls. Yes, There are quite a few horny men that will let he/shes like me go down on them while they fantasize us being the real thing. But when its over, they can be nasty and mean to us, After all, we are guys pretending to be real girls. We're just creatures to most of the world, hated by so many.
ReplyDeleteThere is a reason it is called the unkindest cut of all.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it's so much better to be circumcised, and I've tried both worlds.
ReplyDeleteBefore I did it my girlfriend used to be prone to infections and she had some trouble with that in general. I was very meticulous about hygiene as well, but just let's face it. Even if you hold back your foreskin and clean it, having no foreskin where bacterias can hide is still better and more hygienic.
So, one day she asked me if I cared to have it done for us to have a better sex life. I admit that I showed some skepticism at first considering it's an irreversible procedure, so I started reading about the subjects with its pros and cons and finally decided to do it five years ago. After it was decided we started to look into different types of procedures and results. Once you're getting it done I see nothing wrong in doing in also caring for the aesthetic/visual aspects of it. Women do a lot for us men to improve their appearance, so why not give a future wife a little treat?
Then, after carefully looking through options, the decision was made for a relatively tight procedure. I also had a cosmetic procedure after the circumcision itself to conceal the scar.
Now, neither one of us don't look back. Both me and my gf thinks it looks so much better and sex life has improved greatly. All her infections are now a thing of the past and intercourse feels better for both of us since there's nothing in the way to obstruct thrusting. Of course, some sensitivity has gone, but it's still plenty left and I see it as an advantage to be able to last longer and to be a better lover.
So my conclusion: Not saying it's the right choice for everyone and I think men should choose for themselves when they're old enough. But I see nothing wrong in promoting the choice as an option to improve sex life as an adult, and people should be open about their preferences concerning circumcision.
I definitely think circumcised men look sexier and more attractive. There's something about the exposed and clean-looking head that is much more appealing than the shriveled up skin. I'm happy when I find out a good-looking celebrity I like (eg. Brad Pitt) is circumcised. It makes him sexier to me.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I'm aware that while circumcised men are the majority in America, uncircumcised men are the majority in Europe and that women there may find those men attractive in a different way. And obviously it isn't the most important quality in a man and wouldn't be a deal-breaker. It's mainly an aesthetic preference.
Rosanna
Such a true post even after so many years.
ReplyDeleteI don't sleep with women who haven't had their clitoral hood cut.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, women with their clit hoods disgust me. And they smell like shit.
If I ever have a daughter, the first thing I'm gonna have the daughter do is fix that so men will want to sleep with her when she grows up.
I love your honesty and telling it like it is. My Brother was not circumcised and hated it. Any sons I have will definitely be getting circumcised.
ReplyDeleteBefore you rush to have your baby boy cut, consider that this surgery could cost him his life. How guilty would you feel if your baby boy died because you decided it was worth risking his life because _you_ prefer the look?
ReplyDeleteJust read this, please:

I am so thankful to my parents for not doing this to me as a baby boy; I cannot imagine how much I would have resented them had they done it, with me never getting a say in the matter.
Would be mothers, if you really love your child, don't risk his life by performing this risky and unnecessary surgery. Let him decide for himself when he's old enough to understand the issues and decide for himself.
I'm also so glad I don't live in America where there is a very real prejudice against men who have not been mutilated this way, almost as if being mutilated is the norm.
ReplyDeleteWell... here are Holly Jean's Top 5 Reasons Why She Prefers a Cut Penis.
ReplyDelete5. It slides up and down more easily, foreskin can get in the way. I mean... it's a bit of flappy skin... what do I do with it?!
Not true, when I have an erection my penis looks almost identical to a circumcised penis. See this link for a picture of what I mean.

4. Lower risks of infections. Dirt, urine etc doesn't have anywhere to get trapped.
If a man showers daily there's really not much difference, if you're really paranoid about it, he can always have a quick wash first.
3. It's cleaner. Yes... I know that soap and water exists. But any bit of sweat or moisture smells and tastes putrid underneath that foreskin. And Smegma was it's name-o.
Only if he doesn't wash.
2. Lower incidence of STDs.
No kidding. I read it on WebMD. Plus, women cannot see the whole penis, and thus will not spot any genital warts or rash that might be lurking under the foreskin.
But you will see it if he's erect, or if he peels back the foreskin, it's not rocket science.
1. Visually MUCH more attractive.
This is the opinion of people from the US where circumcision is the norm. Women from the UK find that circumcised penises look gross with that big ugly scar. This suggests that it's what you're used to that you find aesthetic.
A neat penis looks sexier. Flappy skin only looks good on Shar peis.
When it's erect it looks the same, and when it's flaccid, it doesn't' look like flappy skin, it just covers the head.
However you're entitled to like what you like, in the same way that guys are entitled to prefer big boobs, and guys are entitled to find fat women gross.
The body is that of a 25-1/2 inch, 15 pound, very pale appearing Negro male appearing consistent with the stated age of 6 months. ... No anomalies are evident.
ReplyDeleteWhen initially viewed, a large amount of congealed blood covers the head of the penis. Removal of this disclosed a circumcision site that appears unremarkable along the dorsal surface of the penis. Ventrally, however, a gaping defect of approximately 12 x 14 millimeters is evident with a large amount of extravasated blood in the subcutaneous tissues extending along the shaft of the penis nearly to the scrotal sac.

CAUSE OF DEATH: Exsanguination
DUE TO: Penile Circumcision
From a grieving mother's blog. She decided to have her boy undergo circumcision surgery despite him having other medical problems.
ReplyDeleteWould be mothers, think about this before robbing your unborn son of his choice to decide what to do with his own body, and before possibly killing him.
The World Will Never Know Him
It's strange how grief hits.
This winter has been hard on me. We have spent days, weeks, and months locked in our houses, keeping warm, all while a thick blanket of snow covered our lives. With every inch of snow that fell, the smaller my house felt, and the more panicked and restless I became. I struggled with entertaining 3 children, 2 of whom should have been at school. Day after day after day of snow closings and pent up energy became an awful jumbled mess of stress and frustration.
As winter has slowly started losing it's grip on the land, as our pond is defrosting, geese and ducks are returning to their nests, and green grass is pushing it's way up through the earth, I have found myself breathing a sigh of relief, thankful for the reprieve.
I've spent hours in the sun, soaking up the warmth, breathing in the fresh clean air that spring has brought. I've spent hours watching my children shoot baskets, become more confident on their bikes and scooters, all while working up the courage to let them go a little further from the house by themselves.
But with every new season a small part of me silently grieves.
As the kids begin to spend more time outside, I always discover their need for bigger clothing, larger shoes, and new outside toys. Their bike seats need to be raised, the training wheels taken off, and the baby toys are slowly finding their way to new homes that are full of expectation for a little one who will soon need them.
But a sad silent voice reminds me of a child the world will never know.
He was and is my son.
Joshua.
He would be 3 1/2 this spring. He would be running and riding a tricycle and discovering the world around him.
There will be no new shoes for him. There won't be digging through boxes of clothes that have been passed down from his brother waiting for him to grow just big enough to wear them. There won't be any swimming lessons or riding bikes. No running beside a wobbly bike as we release our hands from the seat and hold our breath that he just stays up. There will be no kissing boo boos and one less dirt ring around the bathtub from a day spent outside digging for worms.
There won't be tiny hands reaching up for me to pick him up to let him rest. There won't be popsicle goo on fingers to be washed, no potty accidents to clean up. There won't be any sleepy eyes with hands around my neck as we say our good night prayers.
And next fall, there will be a preschool teacher saying hello to her students who eagerly and anxiously await the world that will begin to widen. She will be a teacher that should have had the name "Joshua" on her class roster.
My heart. It aches.
Sometimes the reality that the world will never know Joshua brings me to my knees in the sadness and finality of losing him.
My heart aches as I continue to rejoice in the life that continues around me. It weeps for a world that will never know my son.
I can testify to the truth of the sentiments expressed in this recording, having been circumcised, unnecessarily (if I knew then...) at the age of 16, 26 years ago, following bad advice from an ignorant doctor and surgeon.
ReplyDeleteThe sensations possible with a foreskin are widely varying, intensely exciting, deeply satisfying and exquisite, just as nature intended.
Without a foreskin? sex is dull, uncompelling, disappointing, and frankly, hardly worth the effort. Circumcision is a damaging mutilation.
- bjpitts on the same Youtube, 2009
As a woman married to a cut guy, I have had several affairs with guys with a foreskin and the sex was out of this world. There seems to be a lot of misinformation about a foreskin. The foreskin does not necessarily automatically retract on all guys, some guys, unless it is pushed back before they get hard, it will stay forward all the time while having sex and to watch that pointed thing aimed at you almost gives an orgasm on first contact. So, a real big thumbs up to a guy with a foreskin.
ReplyDeleteI agree with EVERY word you say. I am grateful that my parents did this FOR me not to me. It is NOT mutilation - no way because that implies a loss of function and circumcised men are HARDLY sexual cripples or impaired in any way. My Wife agrees and SHE decided that we would make love each and EVERY day. Who am I to disagree? It is always clean and it looks much more appealing both important considerations to her and she feels each stroke more because my penis does not slide around in it's own foreskin it slides gently against her. She likes it, I like it and we make good use of it.
ReplyDeleteWomen telling men to cut "flappy skin" off their penises because it's "more attractive" that way. My god, imagine the outrage if men urged women to get labiaplasties to make their vaginas look better.
ReplyDeleteI am and love it.
ReplyDeleteHolly - i was circumcised in my 20's for medical reasons.both my partner & i were not keen. Anyway i had it done and as someone who was uncircumcised to someone who now is, I much prefer my circumcised penis. My partner at the time said it felt bigger to her also saying that doesn't make sense. Anyway a few years later i married someone else as you do. We had a boy & left him as he was, thinking he can do it as an adult if he wishes
