I got these new products from Shiseido last week but I waited until my trip to the UK to use them. What better time to use the Maquillage Autumn/Winter collection than when I am in an autumn winter climate itself!
Chu New Lip "Chu" is the sound of a kiss in Japan.. I guess if it were a Singapore brand, we'd call it Muacks New Lip! :D Argh... the Japanese do everything cuter than us.. even their kisses sound more demure!
Chu New Lip comes in 6 colours. I have the Hot Pink and Blush Rose.
Verdict: Very sweet, natural and kissable looking colours. Makes my lips look sculpted and plump, kind of like a collagen jab type appearance. Does not dry lips out, keeps them well conditioned... which is fabulous for cold windy cities like Aberdeen where I am right now.
But back in Singapore, I'd still love using it because it makes my lips look fab!
Essence Rich White Liquid
This new Maquillage foundation will be launched in October 2011. Look out for it at the Shiseido counters. It is 80% essence... like.. HELLO!
Can your foundation do what mine does?! Essence Rich White Liquid is super moisturising, and instead of plastering colour onto your skin like most foundations, it actually lets your natural glow come through.
Verdict: Ample and natural coverage. Love how it blends easily and matches my skin tone ( I am using 30). Has good staying power even when I don't use a loose powder over it. The glass bottle is so pretty too! My sensitive and dehydrated skin just laps up the essence... loveeee it! I think even those who do not have dry skin will love this product because of the 80% essence content! not oily at all.. it's 80% essence... not 80% oil or glycerin.
Shiseido Bio Performance Advanced Super Revitalizing Cream
This is from their new range of Bio Performance products (that's a range of special care products like serums and super moisturisers). This revitalizing cream is for reducing fine lines and retexturising skin.
Verdict: Love the consistency of it.. it's not too heavy yet it's very emollient. I have not seen any re-texturising yet but I'll keep using this because my skin feels very supple and moisturised... hopefully in a few weeks I'll have smoother skin!
