Hellooo... come April 18 2013, you can get the Leona Lewis Cruelty-Free Collection at TheBodyShop Singapore :) Leona Lewis is a perfect fit for the brand because she's a vegetarian and animal activist.
This collection doesn't just look pretty... but it stands for such a good cause.
The EU Ban on animal testing was just implemented last 11 March. This is after The Body Shop 20 years of campaigning with NGO partner Cruelty-free International. This means that any new products that is imported or made in Europe are not supposed to have even the ingredients tested on animals. But this is just a small milestone. The Body Shop is now moving to something bigger – calling for a global ban!
I've signed the pledge, hope you will too.. at any of The Body Shop stores or online.
I've got the Lip Gloss ($18.90) in Petal and Fuchsia... they also have it in Coral and Bronze. All 4 shades are limited edition. The colours are sheer, the gloss is shiny, non-sticky and tastes of mint!Loving my new Blusher Brush ($32.90), it's like a kabuki brush shape but it's HOT PINK and the tip is actually like petal shaped. Love it!!! Its super soft synthetic hairs are 100% cruelty free! This brush is especially good for use with the shimmer palettes in this range.
I also have the Shimmer Palettes ($39.90) in both Blush and Bronze. The blush palette gives a more rosy glow while the bronze palette gives a more radiant shimmer. Each palette has 3 shades of shimmering pressed powder in a cute deer design.I use the bronze palette to contour my cheeks. :)
The makeup palettes do not contain any bug shell extract to colour the product, any shimmer effect is made from mineral mica and the binding agents are made from natural vegetable materials instead of crushed shellfish. Because the love for animals includes bugs, insects and other creepy crawlies. :)
All of The Body Shop's products are 100% vegetarian and 100% cruelty-free.
