Madly In Love with Sunplay!

According to the Health Promotion Board, skin cancer is the 8th most common cancer in Singapore. As such, wearing sunscreen daily is highly recommended. However, most of the suncare products available at pharmacies and supermarkets here tend to be thick, greasy and have a strong 'sunblock smell'. I don't like!

I want to share SunPlay with you because I spent the whole of last week trying them out  and I'm madly in love with all of them! They're very affordable and you can easily find them at Watsons, Guardian and supermarkets. 

For everyday use, I recommend the Skin Aqua UV Whitening Moisture Gel SPF25 PA++. The Gel format provides the lightest texture. So it's great for the humid weather here. Just apply and go to work, or shopping, or running errands. It also has Arbutin to help fight dark spots and give your fairer, more radiant skin.

The UV Mild Milk is suitable for people with sensitive skin. That's why I prefer using this one on my face. It's a milk that is free from fragrances, alcohol and mineral oil so it is extra gentle on skin. You can remove it with your regular facial cleanser. 

The third product in the SKIN AQUA range is the Skin Aqua UV Moisture Milk SPF50 PA+++ . It has high UVA and UVB protection levels. 

One of my main concerns about relaxing by the pool (even though I make it a point to lie in the shade) is that I fall asleep and wake up with sunburn! No worries anymore because this has high and long lasting protection and it is also waterproof and sweat proof. As an added bonus, this product has skin care ingredients like collagen, hyaluronic acid and Provitamin B5 to improve skin elasticity!

Do you like those Mentholatum lipbalms which give your lips an icy cool feeling upon application? Well, with the Sunplay Watery cool SpF65 pa+++  ($17.20), you can give your skin a watery cool feeling!

It has a cool refreshing menthol sensation to keep skin cool under hot sun. It is a light white watery liquid when you squirt it out of the bottle, and all it takes is a gentle rub for it to be absorbed into the skin. Once applied, it leaves no white residue, no sticky feeling (all Sunplay products are like this!).

Look! It's so easily absorbed into my skin! It has UV REFLECTANT technology to reflect UV rays away and it is water resistant for long lasting protection outdoors. 

If you're super afraid of the sun and getting tanned... try the Sunplay Superblock SPF130 PA +++ ($17.20). It has the absolute highest UVA/UVB protection! Even with the highest SPF130 PA+++ protection, it is still very light in texture, smooth on skin, and does not clog pores. And no stinky sunblock smell!

If I know I'm going to be out in the blasting hot sun, this is the product I turn to for ultra protection.
