My New Specs! Crizal Transitions Signature Lenses

I've been using Crizal lenses since 2011 and they have never disappointed me. This is my third pair of Crizals... and it's their latest lens. This time, a brand new pair of Crizal Transitions Signature!

Transitions has partnered with Essilor to offer the new Crizal Transitions Signature Lenses with Chromea7 technology. It gives the most complete protection for the eyes to date, which means I get the best of both worlds with Transitions and Crizal Forte UV!

I got mine from W optics located at #01-400, Suntec City. You can get the Crizal Transitions Signature Lenses from most leading optical stores in Singapore.

Love W Optics, they actually have this mirror which takes your photos with each different spectacle frames so you can scrutinize how you look in each spectacle frame before you decide which looks best on you.

The Transitions lenses are tested in more than 200 conditions representing real-life lighting situations including various temperatures, weather conditions and geographies. The research consists of not only traditional laboratory measurements, but also live wearer testing and real world measurements. The extensive testings mean that the lenses are far more responsive to UV light, which means they get darker in more weather conditions, from sunny to cloudy to everything in between. They also adapt very well to indirect UV light, such as those reflected from buildings, cars, and many other surfaces. Perfect for sunny Singapore! These lenses come equipped with Chromea7 technology, which is a unique dye formulation which enables the lenses to be more responsive in more situations and even darker on hot sunny days.

What's also new about these Transitions lenses is that the dye formulation has been enhanced to emulate the most stylish of sunglasses and you get to choose between a lovely shade of grey or brown. I chose the grey lenses as it suits my new blue-grey frames best. The new Crizal Transitions Signature Lenses are darker and more responsive than the previous Transitions lenses.

Loving my super crystal clear lenses. I'm so amazed at how responsive the latest Transitions technology is! It goes from light to dark.. or dark to light in just a few seconds.

So with my new pair of Crizal Transitions Signature, I not only get the benefits of Transitions in my new lenses, I get the amazing qualities of Crizal lenses too! Like my previous Crizal lenses, this new pair also eliminates smudges, dust, water droplets, scratches and glare and one more very deadly enemy, UV! With my new lenses, I am protected from harmful UV exposure from BOTH the front and the back of the lenses. Furthermore, lenses coated with Crizal Forte UV are equipped with Eye-Sun Protection Factor(E-SPF) 25 meaning the wearer is 25 times more protected against UV than without any lens. When benchmarked against any other lenses available in the market, Crizal Forte UV lenses provide 5 times more UV protection. SPF for the eyes is important too!

The Transitions shade it turns into when outdoors is a lovely gradient grey, making my glasses a stylish pair of shades.
