Kimono Day at Asakusa

Ever since we wore the hanbok in Seoul on our previous winter holiday (Bare Your Seoul)... one of my favourite things to do with my family when travelling is dressing up!
The area to go for is Asakusa. It has rows of Kimono rental stores.
Then a short walk away you will get to temples, and scenic spots for photo taking.
The streets and temples and spots for photo taking were damn crowded (compared to when were were taking Hanbok pics in Seoul) but I still enjoyed it soooooooooo much.
We prebooked our kimono rental slots via Klook. Everything went pretty smoothly.
I don't know if Adamson enjoys it as much as I do... I think he only does it because he knows I enjoy it so much (thank you Bubba) and myla loves it too. MJ not so much, he will get cranky during the dress up part, because there's so many layers, and quite a bit of waiting around. But once out and about, he's happy to take pics etc.
Nakamise is a famous area there which is a shopping street leading up to Sensoji Temple. The street is lined with shops selling traditional stuff like lanterns, souveniers... and lots of food!

We spent a couple hours just walking the street, taking pictures and eating street food.

Super loved this day :)
